BBT Stop: Vegas & Salt Lake City
• Ah Vegas, home sweet home. Ralph from Alternate Reality is such an awesome guy. He treated us to yummy Hummus-y dinner and then Melissa and I treated ourselves to Fishy-style Video Poker. Me mum and sis came to the signing, as well as fans and old friends. The time, it was good. • SLC, commie style, yo. What can I say about Alan and Mimi from Night Flight that everyone doesn’t already know? They rock so hard. I mean, ha-aaaa-aa-rrr-dd. Get it? That’s really really hard. I think Mimi might actually be the devil, and you knowz what a tender spot I have in my heart for el Diablo. With each passing moment she would make cookies and chocolate and carrot cake (with apricot filling!) magically appear. I had no choice but to succumb to her powers of enticement. I fear Christopher and I were so spoiled, we may never be the same. Forever we shall have her sugary evil running through our veins. Meeting Christafa’s fam was a perk as well, AND me gramsie and grampie showed up as well. We be luuuuuuuved. It was nice to have Derek bo berek signing with us & shootin’ the sheila, for he be our First Mate-y. Robbie’s reign of sticky terror continues! | | 11:41 am |
Oh Sweet Mystery Of Life Atlast I've Found You..
Whew! Can the Beastly Book thing-a-ma-bobbie actually be over half way over? Knowledge I have accumulated thus far: • Christopher is a funny mo’fo. Also, a joy to travel with and very well groomed. Still, I feel I must challenge him to a Beastly Boozin’ Bonanza before this journey is over. • Portland has a thriving underground scene with plenty of indie shops showcasing handmade goodness that makes my left cheek tingle. Lemmie give a shout out to Devereaux, who put up with us and put us up, and who also owns a Horror Movie collection to DIE for. In this second stop of the BBT, Robbie continues his stickering madness that will devour most every city on the tour, leaving madness in his wake. • Seattle has Outdoor Movies showing every week where you can loaf in an abandoned parking lot and watch an Oldies projected gigantically on the side of a building with a group of rowdy Washingtonians. Let’s not discuss my “Honey Bucket” (Seattle’s version of the “Port-o-potty”) incident. It was DARK in there, ok? Also a Seattle highlight: Torrey falling into the river, as Robbie convinces him to “sticker the water.” | | Monday, August 9th, 2004 | | 9:59 am |

My famous "exploding head" trick
Hmmm..tonight is a "write a line or two in my LJ" sorta night. I've been reading alot of Roald Dahl lately. The range of his work is amazing. From his kiddiewink books (James & the Giant Peach, The Twits, The BFG, etc) to his "adult" fiction (The Umbrella Man, Ah, Sweet Mystery of Life) the wit and charm of his storytelling is just inspiring. He was a clever ol' boy. and that'z allz Iz gotz to say tonight. | | Thursday, January 15th, 2004 | | 1:47 am |

Hold the phone, stop the press, eat your own eyeballs. This is my first ever Live Journal entry thinga-ma-jiggy. Blame it on Christopher. -Olive |
